Cooperation with the International Association of Penal Law

Dean of the TSU Faculty of Law Tamar Zarandia, Deputy Dean Giorgi Dgebuadze, and Professor Irakli Dvalidze met with the Professor of the University of Oradea, Judge of the Bihor Appeals Court - Carmen Adriana Domocos.

 

Mrs. Carmen Adriana Domocos has an extensive working experience in the Romanian Appeals Court system. She was the President/Vice President of the Court in different periods and also worked as a prosecutor for many years. Professor Domocos is a member of the Public Law Department of the Faculty of Law of the University of Oradea (Romania) and the International Association of Penal Law.

 

Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the future perspectives of cooperation with the International Association of Penal Law and the prospects of joining the academic team of the TSU Faculty of Law. The International Association of Penal Law is one of the oldest criminal law research associations and a global platform for cooperation. The association was founded in 1924 and its activities include criminal policy, comparative criminal law, human rights in the administration of criminal justice, and international criminal law.
